Description

This offering includes a specially issued PLASTIC Picture Sleeve featuring a pix of Prince from the film “Purple Rain”. Please refer to my pix for details regarding the sleeve. It has some wrinkles and dings but no tears or splits.

The record is unusual in that both titles, “Purple Rain” & “GOD”, two great tunes from Prince’s 1984 film, as well as credits, etc., are shown on the label of one side, while the other label is blank except for some artwork, a pattern that resembles “Purple Rain". The best part is that this 45 RPM record is pressed on PURPLE vinyl.

The disc has a scratch that extends into the grooves about ½ inch on the Purple Rain side. This scratch causes a series of tics and a couple skips during play of the affected portion of the disc. Otherwise the disc is VG+/NM. Labels look perfect and the disc and sleeve would display quite well. The disc will be put in a generic sleeve for shipping.
