PRINCE His Majesty's Pop Life Test Pressing 2x12" Vinyl KEVIN GRAY Unreleased
Prince - His Majesty's Pop Life / The Purple Mix Club (WB/NPG)
2019 test pressing of 2LP set issued by Warner Brothers/NPG Records. This set was originally only released in Japan as a promo in 1985. These test pressings were made by Optimal Media in Germany. Discs have blank labels on all sides.
This test pressing was made from lacquers cut by Kevin Gray at Coherent Audio. The officially released version doesn't seemto have this info in the matrix, perhaps making it sonically different from the released version. As of today, no Kevin Gray lacquers have been used on any released version of this double 12" set.
Sides written in black ink on labels. Comes in a plain white cover.
