PRINCE - ‘Sign “O” The Times’ 2LP UK/Europe 1987 Paisley Park WX88 / 925 577-1
Early pressing with lyric inner sleeves.
Made in Germany.
R/S Alsdorf 925577-1-A5XX / B5 / C2X / DXX matrix numbers.
CONDITION: U.K. MAGAZINE 'RECORD COLLECTOR' GRADING SYSTEM USED. It’s in my best interests to provide an accurate and honest appraisal of condition. If in doubt, I tend to under-grade to avoid buyer disappointment. Vinyl is play tested IN FULL at volume on quality audio equipment. Please note; there may be minor variations in the audible level of background surface noise/light crackle/dust pops from one turntable set-up to another. Used records are cleaned with L'art Du Son fluid using a Moth vacuum record cleaning machine, unless condition deems unnecessary. All records/sleeves are visually checked in good natural daylight or using 125W white/daylight bulbs.
Playing condition ranges from EX to MINT with the vast majority of the record playing at the higher grade. Record has clearly had little previous play. Very occasional audible surface noise/light crackle. Overall; NO loud overpowering crackle NO deep scratches that cause loud repetitive clicks NO distortion/groove-wear NO jumps NO sticking.
Visually, in good daylight, the vinyl playing surface looks VG+. Please be assured record is not littered with deep scratches. Some light surface-only marks/scuffs. Nothing that feels to the touch. No deep scratches.
Labels are NrMINT. Few and faint spindle marks. All text perfectly legible. NO writing NO stickers.
Sleeve is in NrMINT condition. Had been previously stored in an outer protective cover. Very few and minor patches of edge and corner wear otherwise would grade full mint. All spine text perfectly legible. NO seam splits NO long rips/tears NO writing NO stickers.
Inners are in VG+/EX- condition. Couple of light creases. Some rubbing in places. Some stain marks/spots on peach coloured lyric side. NO seam splits NO rips/tears NO writing NO stickers.
PHOTOS ARE OF ACTUAL ITEM FOR SALE. NO STOCK PHOTOS USED.
PLEASE NOTE; Due to their reflective nature, vinyl records are notoriously hard to photograph. Faint marks rarely show up. However, I try to include photos of anything more noticeable on the playing surfaces, where possible.

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint
EXCELLENT (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG) The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratches. Normal wear and tear on the cover and extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable
GOOD (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeable deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and or deface
POOR (P) The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing
BAD (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken and is only of use as a collection filler
