Description
Here is a really special item for those into 1960s Garage Rock. This is a copy of the rare 45 RPM single by Prince and the Paupers, "Shoulder of a Giant" / "Exit." What is really special here is that the original plain sleeve containing the record has the signatures of all the band members, including leader Eddie Helder, who is credited on the labels with writing both songs. These songs were recorded in 1965 in Minnesota. The record looks very nice, except I noticed, upon close examination, a tiny crack going in from the edge, entirely confined to the lead-in area. It does not get into the music grooves at all on either side. It is tight. I tried to capture some images of that in the photos. This is a chance to get a pretty nice example of this very rare record that is highly sought-after by collectors of 1960s garage rock, with a huge bonus of getting a sleeve autographed by the band members. There can't be many of these. I did not play the record, but I found the music online and listened to it there. It is very interesting.
