A defining Prince single from the Purple Rain era—stripped down, razor-sharp, and instantly recognizable from the first hit of the Linn. “When Doves Cry” is one of the most important pop records of the 1980s, and the 12” promo is the format collectors and DJs chase for the full-size presentation and classic Warner promo packaging.
This is a genuine WB promotional 12” with PROMO stamping on the cover and promo labeling on the record label (see photos). Clean, glossy vinyl graded NM, with a strong EX sleeve and the original inner included.
