Description
Excellent, guaranteed original, 1971 Minnesota Private-pressing Christian/Folk-Psych LP by SONFOLK entitled "Sonfolk" on Artronics Records (#7113). There were several straight-forward Christian Rock albums released on this limited label during the early-1970s. This is by far the BEST! It is made up of former members of the BEDLAM FOUR (The guys that released the legendary "Hydrogen Atom" 45 in 1967!) and even the leader Dick Pogue is heard singing 3 original tunes on the disc. A couple of the tunes contain cool fuzz guitar, melodic harmonies, and even backward tape loops. Pretty hard to find. Song titles: "Sweet Sweet Spirit," "Morning Has Broken," "Bridge Over Troubled Water/The Old Rugged Cross," "God Power," "I Wish We'd All Been Ready," "Stand," "Traveling Man," "Personal Boogie," "Matthew 6:22," and " Homecoming." The cover is autographed by all three group members as well! Condition: Cover = solid VG+ (very light wear, no seam splits), Record = solid VG (lots of light paper scuffs - plays through fine though with only minimal light surface background noise!, LISTEN TO AN ACTUAL SOUND CLIP!).
