See my other auctions this week for a bunch of Northern Soul, funk, mod, and boogie 45s and LPs, including two more 45s by Hosie Bee! Here’s an extremely rare private press soul funk LP by Hosie Bee. This is on the Gemini label out of Oakland, California. Really great low budget funky soul, not over-produced like so much of the music from the late 70s. The vinyl grades in the VG+ to VG++ range… a nice copy with full gloss. The cover is in nice shape, with some ballpoint pen writing on the front (not sure if that’s the autograph of someone involved with making this LP). Tracks include Space Ride, Disco Shout, What Can I Say What Can I Do, Tipping Light, Grandpa Thang, I Stand Alone, and Tear It Up Put It Back. This one almost never turns up… get it while you can!!
