Description

Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on:  TITLE & ARTIST: "Crawfish Fiesta" - recorded by Professor Longhair on the Alligator Records label (AL 4718), in beautiful original stereo sound, issued in 1980. CONDITION: JACKET - VG++(Jacket has light corner and edge wear and an embossed stamp on back - please see actual album in photos); VINYL - Near Mint(Vinyl is shiny and clean, with virtually no marks - visually graded under special daylight balanced spotlight).  SPECIAL FEATURES: Fantastically rare and wonderful record by one of the true legends of New Orleans R&B - the great Professor "Fess" Longhair; fantastic music and great notes with full historical information; if you enjoy music that comes from the very heart of New Orleans, then please don't miss this one. TRACKS: Big Chief, Her Mind Is Gone, Something On Your Mind, You're Driving Me Crazy, Red Beans, Willie Fugal's Blues, It's My Fault Darling, In the Wee Wee Hours, Cry to Me, Bald Head, Whole Lotta Loving, and Crawfish Fiesta. Thanks! If you have further questions about condition or content, please don't hesitate to ask. You may bid with unworried confidence. Our sales history is your assurance of absolute integrity. Thank you and good luck. OUR GRADING SYSTEM: We grade visually, and we are happy to listen to any LP and give you an aural grade as well. SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
