This really is a nice item! It is the extremely rare 1971 progressive rock (heading into pyschedlia!) LP, "LOCAL ANAESTHETIC" by the UK band NIRVANA. It is an original 1st pressing on the VERTIGO 'SWIRL' label, cat#6360 031. The front and back of the gatefold cover are, as I hope you can see from the pics below in a VERY near mint condition. The inside of the gatefold, however, has obviously met with an unfortunate incident at some point, and there is some damage - again, this is clear in the pic below. The labels are very nice, clean and unmarked with just a little light spindle-marking. As to the disc itself, there IS a small marking on side one which does cause about four quiet 'ticks' over the course of a couple of seconds. There a little 'crackle' (and I do mean just a little!) in the run-in grooves: this is due to grime in the groove and should 'play out' fine (or if you have access to a record-cleaning machine, that will do the job quicker). Those points aside, the vinyl has plenty of full-on as-new sheen and plays just beautifully.
