Vintage original first printing concert poster advertising the legendary 1970 PROGRESSIVE POP FESTIVAL at the Sporthalle in Cologne, Germany, on April 3 and 4, 1970, featuring an impressive line-up of DEEP PURPLE, YES, KINKS, T REX, JERONIMO, PROCUL HARUM, LIVING BLUES, FACTS OF LIFE, CHICKEN SHACK, COLOSSEUM, NICE, SOFT MACHINE, EAST OF EDEN, EKSEPTION, J.C. HEAVY, EIRE APPARENT, MIGHTY BABY, and BARCLAY JAMES HARVEST. The festival was presented by Peter Hauke Managemenets in cooperation with “UNDERGROUND” (German music magazine). Fabulous artwork by artist Klaus Holitzka with each band name printed on a joint sticking out of the young man’s hair. The poster measures 23 1/2 x 33 inches (59.5 x 84.0 cm) and would look absolutely stunning professionally framed.
