Description: This is an ultra rare private release by Project Soul out of Vallejo, CA. The front side is a Funk Boogie monster while the B-side is a Soul ballad. This group later changed their name and became the well known group Con Funk Shun. The record does have many marks on it and some groove wear. Some of the marks on both sides can be felt with a fingernail so I play graded it on an old school Technics turntable. I'm not sure what stylus was used, but both sides play through without skipping. Both songs do have a few audible ticks and some background noise. But again it plays all the way through without skipping! This record would benefit from a thorough cleaning on a VPI cleaner, but I will leave that to you! The labels also show a little wear including some light writing across the front label. Please refer to the pictures provided for more details. This is a perfect addition to any rare Funk, Soul, or 45 record collection! If you are reading this then you already know that this record rarely comes up for sale in any condition.

Condition Grading: I visually observed the condition of the record under a strong light and play graded the record on a turntable. I conservatively assigned a condition grade using Goldmine standards.

A Little About Myself: I have been buying and selling many collectibles, including records, for over 30 years now. I understand the key to most rarities and collectibles is condition, condition, condition. This is my first foray in to the online market when it comes to vinyl. I prefer to do business, the old fashion way, face-to-face, but the market has moved from brick and mortar shops to the online forum. And to keep up with the hobbies, I am doing so also.
I know that my feedback is low, but it is all positive except for one neutral feedback. To be honest with you, I feel that the person who left the neutral feedback did it to extort a cheaper price after the sale was complete. Which eventually I gave in and provided the discount they requested, before they opened a case on me, and I moved on. This kind of left a sour taste in my mouth for online commerce. But, I am going to give it another try with this piece. If all goes well with this listing, as I expect, I will be listing another ultra rare 45 Funk monster out of Vallejo, CA. I will be listing the highly sought after 45 "Turn It Over" by Chucky Thurmon released in 1972 on Thurmoe Blast #697. The reason I am listing these (2) records is because I have recently acquired a small collection of 45s, from the estate of a lady who lived in Richmond, CA, in which these two records were present in NM condition. I am keeping these for my personal collection and selling the ones I already had, which happen to be in less than NM condition, to support my vinyl habit.
