MICHAEL GARRICK SEXTET

FEATURING JOE HARRIOTT IAN CARR TONY COE COLERIDGE GOODE DAVE GREEN & COLIN BARNES

PLUM ARGO LABEL ZDA 36

STEREO 1965 RELEASE

THIS IS A MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY TO OWN A COPY OF "PROMISES". RELEASED IN 1965 THIS IS THE ULTRA RARE STEREO VERSION STARRING SUCH STALWARTS OF THE UK JAZZ SCENE AS JOE HARRIOTT TONY COE AND IAN CARR. OCCASIONALLY THE MONO RELEASE OF THIS RECORD TURNS UP BUT HARDLY EVER DO YOU SEE THE STEREO VERSION. COMPLETE WITH ORIGINAL FIRST PRESS RED STEREOPHONIC RECORD SLEEVE. THIS IS A MAJOR RARITY ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION !!

THIS NEAR MINT CONDITION RECORD ONLY RARELY BECOMES AVAILABLE !!

The record plays with the NO repeats NO jumps NO skips NO hiss AND NO crackle !. It really has an AWESOME SOUND just like it was recorded yesterday!! A non sounding paper scuff and a couple of wispy hairlines. THAT's IT!!. I would grade this record as EASILY EXCELLENT + IF INDEED NOT BETTER. IF YOU ARE REALLY PICKY THEN THERE IS JUST ONE OR TWO VERY VERY FAINT BARELY NOTICEABLE BITS OF CRACKLE BUT THAT REALLY IS IT. NOTHING SERIOUS AT ALL!! A TRULY SUPER AND RARE RECORD ON THE PLUM ARGO LABEL RELEASED IN STEREO 1965 ( SEE PHOTOS )!!!

The FRONT of the sleeve itself is one of those fiamsy LAMINATED sleeves they used in the mid sixties but apart from some VERY VERY faint ringwear ( only seen in a certain light ) EXCELLENT ++ . NO creases , No writing No tears No seam splits No laminate lifting !! ( see photo )!

As for gradings:-

The record itself is easily an EXCELLENT + (IF NOT BETTER ) and the sleeve is EXCELLENT ++

I PLAY ALL MY RECORDS FIRST TO GRADE THEM AND DO NOT RELY ON A VISUAL INSPECTION!!!

A RARE chance to own this JAZZ CLASSIC!!!!

DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE HOW RARE THIS RECORD IS !

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADINGS

EXCELLENT

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have some slight wear and or creasing

VERY GOOD

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.Edge, corner and spine wear and tear on the cover or extra items without any major defects is acceptable

I DO NOT OFFER ANY ITEMS LESS THAN VERY GOOD
NEITHER DO I OFFER MINT ITEMS UNLESS THEY ARE SEALED.THE REASON FOR THIS IS I ALWAYS PLAY MY RECORDS TO CHECK FOR FLAWS

DON'T MISS THIS ONE!!!!

THIS IS A RARE RECORD!!!!

YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!

GOOD LUCK
