Original 1968 first pressing of a GREAT U.K. BLUES-BOOM rocker ....

'Somewhere Down The Line' is the first of two albums by a group that was a contemporary of fellow A&M Records signing of "FREE" and created a similarly, powerful blues sound in the same vein as the first two albums by FREE.

Formed in 1968 TRAMLINE was part of the famed UK Blues-Boom scene that surrounded Mike Vernon's "Blue Horizon" label ... Tramline featured Micky Moody, a dynamic guitarist who turned up in various underground bands (Juicy Lucy, etc), who found fame some years later.

This album has nine sizzling performances by the promising young group, including original material and driving 'takes' of classic songs like Buffalo Springfield's 'Rock And Roll Woman', 'Satesboro Blues' (made famous by early Duane Allman/Allman Brothers) and the Howlin' Wolf blues jammer 'Killing Floor.'
