Description
This is a copy of the promotional edition vinyl record soundtrack for the cult classic movie, the princess bride. On the jacket, there is a gold stamp which reads "Lent for promotional use only. Any sale or unauthorized transfer is prohibited and void. Subject to return upon demand by owner. Acceptance of this record constitutes agreement to the above." Inner sleeve is blank, with just the catalog number. Record label is different from the store release, with a bunch of Warner brothers WB watermarks. I am including a hudson hifi (hi-fi) anti static inner sleeve, and an outer record jacket sleeve.
I don't professionally grade records, so I'll just give you a summary. Outer jacket has ring wear and some edge wear. This should be visible in photos, but I think the cover still looks nice. Inner sleeve is great. It's not falling apart, and has just some minimal creasing. The record is super clean. I used distilled water + tergikleen with a vacuum cleaning machine. No alcohol or harsh chemicals were used. Label looks amazing. No warps. The grooves are great, there are some light scratches on the disc. Nothing that affects playback noticeably to me. No skipping, or harsh sound problems. I just want to be transparent. Please check photos for yourself.
A perfect gift for any fan of the movie. Pair with your vhs copy to relive some nostalgia. Also a fun listening experience if you are just a hipster or audiophile. Vintage / retro music listening experience.
