Rare 1967 guaranteed 1967 ADVANCED RELEASE PROMOTIONAL COPY
Heads up, this is a 47 years old Capitol RAINBOW label, in the famous silver foil designed cover in GREAT shape = SO Hard to find these days with such a clean cover...the original 1968 silver foil cover on the highly collected RAINBOW Capitol label of the sixties...
The foil cover is almost always with scuffs and abrasions - here, CLEAN cover (see details below)
The groove starts as soon as the tonearm drops on the vinyl and doesn't stop. Irresistable. One of the few darlings of the San Francisco sixties scene that deserves its high standing. Overall, song for song, a fantastic album of tightly arranged hard twin guitar dominated psych and extended compositions. John Cippolina's guitar playing is stunning, and the dense epic album closer The Fool is a masterpiece of composition noteworthy for innovation in the use of guitar effects.

CONDITION: The cover: rated: Here's the deal...silver foil covers from the sixties are near impossible to find without scuffs and abrasions, they just didn't wear well. This 45+ year old original cover is clean near M- front, M- back ...Has no seam splits, No bends, no writing and the mid 60's perforated "free" designated to media outlets and radio stations...quite nicely preserved - rarer than you may think.... get it while you can...most original covers found are trashed ...great one here.
The vinyl: Rated: all clean & shiny: rated: near M- with one small scuff line on last track side one, no audio problem ...the grooves are all glossy both sides, looks sharp! expect excellent-clean audio playback with NO problems even though (visually) you see that short soft hairline scuff on track one, you can't feel it, so only cosmetic and plays strong throughout ... The rainbow Capitol labels are both clean A cool addition to anyone's music library!
