PROMO STAMPED!! RARE ELO 1979 GREATEST HITS AUDIOPHILE HALF SPEED MASTER LP W/RARE GOLD PROMO STAMP ON THE BACK !
This is the only Greatest Hits Half speed master I have ever seen that was ALSO STAMPED ON THE BACK AS A PROMOTIONAL ONLY COPY! 
So I am guessing this particular copy was made to go to a radio station, which is very rare because they are in such limited qty. That would also explain why it has been opened but the vinyl appears to be unplayed.
This LP was very limited and hard to find even when first released, I have owned it since 1984-85 and it has never been played before, the vinyl is like new and appears to be unplayed, the cover is very nice with only light wear and a corner ding from being in storage for over 30 years.
Of all the ELO Half Speed Masters are difficult one to find. Promo stamped ones are NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND.

This Auction is for a rare ELO PROMO STAMPED GREATEST HITS  1/2 Speed Master LP OUT OF PRINT FOR DECADES.

These Albums were mastered in Half-Speed technology which allows more time for the Original Session Master Tape to be transferred perfectly to Vinyl, a very costly and time-consuming process that was also used by MFSL. Each has unique static free inner sleeves to protect each piece of vinyl. Half Speed Masters are known for their pure and natural sound.
