An incredibly rare promo copy of the soundtrack performances of 12 popular performers from the early days of rock. The record is in as perfect shape as the day it was pressed! This record was only issued as a promotional record-no stock copy issued. The performers, whose only renditions of their songs are those contained in this LP, include Fats Domino, Buddy Knox, Jimmy Bowen, Charlie Gracie, Slim Whitman, Jerry Lee Lewis, Jodie Sands, Frankie Avalon, Carl Perkins, the Four Coins, Connie Francis and Count Basie & his orchestra with Joe Williams. There's no number for this album because it was issued by Warner Brothers as the film's issuing studio, rather than as a record label--Warner Brothers the record label hadn't yet been formed at the time this record was issued.
This is a fantastic collectible for a fan of early rock!
