Description
This is a very rare promo copy by The Kinks. It originally was part of the press kit for their LP, "The Village Green Preservation Society". It was one of the items in the kit that I help put together back in '69 or '70 when I was working at WB/Reprise in Burbank, Ca.
In addition to this LP, we included a copy of ''The Village Green......" and a fake lid of pot... TRUE. Mo Ostin had this huge amount of faux grass delivered to the shipping room and there we were there with baggies in hand making up these lids.
The jacket of this LP has some wear. A couple small splits in the jacket on the bottom but it still holds its form.
The spine is intact with only a 1" split on the bottom front corner.
The record is beautiful, no scratches or other surface marks.
There are 15 tracks on this LP... from The Kinks beginning up to the release of " Village Green.....".
