Prophet self titled debut album
Not only is Ted Poley of Danger Danger fame on this album and singing lead vocals for some of it...he is also the drummer for all of it. I am ashamed to admit I did not previously know this tidbit of rock/metal history. I'm only selling this becasue I'm an idiot and...well that's the only reason, I'm an idiot. Pick up this sonic document of rock/metal history before it is engulfed by the stereo on the Metal Shrine never to be seen again.
This is another one of those albums where the original buyer was smart enough to leave the cellophane on thereby preserving it for thirty five years. I know I was in much worse condition after thirty five years than this album is...don't front, so were you. From what I can see this record did see a turntable, but not very much. Vinyl looks great. It has the original boring white inner sleeve. I took pictures of everything I could find of note on it. The plastic was expertly sliced because it hasn't even pulled back from the opening. Corners are dinged, but this is a chunk of cardboard that is three and a half decades old...pretty minor issues, but pictured for clarity. I don't grade anything mint, near mint or excellent, in particular older titles because they have been handled some...at best. This has been handled little and will be a great piece to add to any collection of rare vinyl...but it wasn't just carried out of a record store...and neither was any other copy of this album. I really should just keep it. If it's listed, it can still be yours though. Ok, look at the pictures and you decide.
