Original Italian pressing on YEP label (LP 00444), from 1974. Little known and strangely compelling OST by the cult arranger. Seldom heard (if at all) so our soundclip will be a rare treat for underground Italian film music lovers ;) Eccentric / oddball and infectious mood music for the counter-culture sex film / giallo thriller / Polizieschi cum voyeuristic social report on prostitution featuring the killer psychedelic exploitation funk theme SHAKE DI LALLA. Great for DJs with Mario Molino style fuzz distortions and clipped guitar rhythms over thunderous funky drums / obsessive bassline / fender rhodes and blaxploitation jazz horn section. Much funkier than his comped Una Vergine Da Rubare or Un Moscovita A Roma theme too. Unusual arrangements with groovy pop / Spaghetti western and Sicilian folk influences. Several themes have that melancholic cowboy / Guido Pistocchi lounge sound but set to a sleazy hippie-esque film directed by Rino Di Silvestro with bizarre Renato Polselli style touches including satanic ritual scenes / nudity and other strange situations. Orchidea De Sanctis was maybe the most famous Italian film starlet in this now long forgotten movie. Our soundclip opens with SHAKE DI LALLA followed by LA PREDA / DA LUI / LO SGUARDO / BLUES AT THE ROOM / TEMA DI BENEDETTA / REQUIEM PER SODOMA and LA BALLATA DI IMMACOLATA. Artistic direction by Elio Pasquale Palumbo (the man behind the YEP label). Amazing sleeve artwork. Very rare OST Lp!!!

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition with some hairlines. Old pressing residue marks. Light surface noises but mostly due to the actual pressing. Some soft pops / soft ticks in places (as you can hear on the soundclip) The soft card, gatefold sleeve is closer to M- condition overall on the outside and strong VG++ condition overall on the inside due to some wear marks and crease lines but quite normal as all copies we have seen have this. Very sharp looking overall with light ding / creasing to top spine side corner. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Very rare OST Lp!!!
