This is an EX / EX copy of this RARE UK VINYL LP by JERUSALEM - "JERUSALEM" - released on DERAM Records - SDL6 in 1972 in STEREO. There is great debate about the content of this LP, with some critics finding it's raw and youthful (they are VERY young)approach to heavy rock rather amateur. To me, it is a lost classic, with producer Ian Gillan getting a studio performance out of the band that is quite amazing, with an almost live sound, particularly the strained vocals. When I listen to it, I can hear "Deep Purple In Rock". Listen to FRUSTRATION and call me a liar! Anyway it's up to you, but if you like no frills heavy riffs with some great guitar, this is for you. This is a nice copy, the laminated gatefold sleeve still looks fine, with only some edge creasing at the spine and one tiny spot of colour loss (top r/h side, at the record opening) spoiling a perfect front cover. The rear sleeve is in as good shape. The spine is still strong and readable and is only spoilt by some lifting of the laminate near the middle, but this does not effect the front or back cover' laminate. The inside of the gatefold is almost perfect. The disc, which should be played VERY LOUD, has seen some plays and there are visible surface marks, but there is no effect on the music, just the usual noise you would expect between the tracks, if played at high volume, which as I say, you must! With no clicks bumps or jumps this copy is a decent EX if graded audibly. If you don't like visible surface marks, grade VG only. This copy has the RED DERAM labels. A nice copy of this hard to find LP, with the sleeve in great shape! PLAY LOUD !
