PSYCH LP MONO 1967 The Byrds’ Greatest Hits in Shrink, NM!

Beautiful copy of this folk/psych classic in MONO from the Summer of Love.

Vinyl--- NM, store stock brand new on both sides.  Shines like a 1967 mirror.

Plates--- 1B/ 1B.  Definitely an early copy.

Cover--- Still in shrink with price sticker still affixed.  Breathe holes in the shrink.  Front cover looks as it did in the record bin.  Back cover has some foxing and yellowing.  NO SPLITS on the spine or seams.  Some minor shelfwear, however.  Not much.

Labels--- NM 1967 new-looking.  NO spindle marks.

Inner Sleeve--- Originally issued with Columbia’s plastic baggie inner sleeve with the circular bottom, still present.  A bit wrinkled, but other than that, it is in great condition.  A generic paper inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to split your original plastic baggie inner sleeve en route.

RIAA:  4. Yes, some labels besides Capitol used those, even though they didn’t have RIAA’s.

A truly astonishing example of this title in mono, the vinyl is so clean, you will plotz yourself.  And the cat will say to you, “I don’t want to hear it from you ever again.”

Note:  All LP’s ship outside of their album covers in order not to damage the covers during shipment.

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!) 

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)
