on the phonograph records label. songs are here comes the dawn and a matter of fact. totally insane psych/garage 45, a fuzz-laden freak-out that is virtually unknown and as far as i know, un-comped. out of wausau, wisconsin (as stated on label). tommy is tom sumner.....i can't find out anything about this strange 45. a-side has great drum breaks, and some awesome fuzz guitar and fuzz bass......tons o' fuzz. b-side is when things really get weird......more great fuzz, jangly guitar work, more great drums, and then.......is that bing crosby? it is bing crosby! huh? amid a wash of fuzz and feedback you can hear bing crosby slowed down singing a verse from silent night of all things, and then an explosion..........what the hell is happening? did my head just split wide open? this 45 is totally insane. i will try to add a soundclip but i can't promise anything, i'm inept when it come to computers. this is truly an undiscovered gem, i never talk stuff up like this, as most of you know from following my auctions, but i had to with this one. i've put a modest reserve on this one, as i just assume keep it if it doesn't fetch what i want to get for it. i've only seen it sell once in worse condition. comes with original radio station sleeve, with same number as what is on label. labels are VG+, showing no play wear, but does radio station writing on a-side and sticker residue, and b-side has radio station number as well. vinyl is NM, probably barely played before i found it.....and i've only played it a couple times as well. vinyl has been cleaned on a VPI. check my other auctions this week for many more great punk, psych, private, prog, folk, xian, funk, soul, northern, hip hop, jazz & other miscellaneous freak-outs........my largest auction to date, lots of great stuff this week, buy a bunch and save on shipping.
