IMPORTANT:   I DO NOT accept PayPal nor personal checks.  PayPal is a long, chequered story and personal checks require monitoring time which I don't have at the moment.  I only accept Money Order/Cashier's Check as payment.  Contact me within three (3) days from the end of this auction to work out payment info.  I'm a working stiff with a full-time job, so this type of payment is the easiest and quickest to deal with. 

        I also am limiting this auction to shipment within the U.S.  I am in the process of moving into a house, and for ease of selling these items on my end, all auctions are limited to within the U.S.  NO exceptions. Sorry if this sounds snobbish, but NO, I repeat, NO international shipments.

        Shipping cost is $7.00 for Priority Mail shipping (postage and packaging stuff) on this LP.  Shipping can be combined for winning bids within the LP auctions only (these combinations will be calculated by total weight of items won).  I'll be listing Laserdiscs and 45's in the coming weeks and they both will be considered their own set of auctions (for shipping and packaging purposes).

NOW..........on to the description....................

   This is an original International Artists Records issue of THE PSYCHEDELIC SOUNDS OF: THE 13TH FLOOR ELEVATORS from 1966.  It's the Mono issue of this album (#1A No.1 [see photo]) on the original yellow/green record label.  Since I'm originally from Houston, Texas, I purchased this used from a local record store back in 1979.  Even then, it cost a small fortune on my poverty level wages!  Even for a locally issued record, this LP was NOT that easy to find.  I have adored this band ever since being turned-on to them by my eclectic friends then.  A completely unique sound.

    The cover is in great shape (considering it's 41 years old!).  It is the original heavy card stock (not a flimsy laminated import cover).  There's only minor shelf/ring wear.  No tears, splits, stains, or peeling.  The vinyl itself is in VG+ shape, only minor surface scratches which don't affect play.  It still has some of it's original luster, too.  I know these surface marks don't affect play because I've listened to this beauty many times.  It's been well loved by me through the years. 

   This comes from my personal collection, amassed over the past thirty years.  Have fun browsing the other LP's I've got up for auction and Happy Bidding!
