PTOLEMAIC TERRASCOPE MAGAZINE + 7"
VOL. 1, ISSUE 3
Up for auction is an issue of the infamous Ptolemaic Terrascope magazine, spearheaded by Bevis Frond and Woronzow records - an excellent publication delving into all forms of rock and experimental music - both old and new; folk, psych, garage, indie rock, etc. This is issue #3, published in January 1990, and includes the 7" record with cuts by the Tangle Edge, Bevis Frond, Ectomorph and Rustic Rod.
The zine itself highlights a number of great bands, including the musical outfits featured on the record as well as Charlie Watts, XTC, Spirit, Twink and a host of others. Both the magazine and record are in very good condition.
CONDITION: Disc is Near Mint, Magazine is EX.
MY GRADING SCALE:
MINT: Disc and cover are flawless
NEAR MINT: Disc and cover are close to flawless. No scratches on disc, cover with no ringwear or marks other than minute little issues.
EXCELLENT: Disc will have minimal wear ( a few light marks Light wear on cover (small amounts of ringwear, some sticker residue perhaps, strong colors, no seam splits or tears.)
VERY GOOD ++: Cover will have some level of ringwear, slight denting on edges, spinal wear and chipping and price stickers. Disc will have some scratches and scuffs, but will still play decently.
VERY GOOD: Disc will have reasonable wear and tear, perhaps some scratches -noted in description- but still in very playable condition. With VG records, the surface noise will be minor crackle or a slight hiss but generally only be heard in between tracks or in low musical passages. Cover will have ringwear, denting, spine wear, chipping, price sticker - and any other issue will be noted.
