PUBLIC IMAGE LTD. METAL BOX is as RARE and COLLECTIBLE as anything you can find.
3 - 12 inch records in near mint condition (probably never played) all inserts in mint condition. Metal box has minimal wearing on lid (small little spots see picture) and bottom and none on the inside.  The only thing we can find is tarnish on the rim of the tin. 
This is a 1st pressing from Virgin Records 1979 - METAL 1
