Description

An impossible-to-find highly collectible still-sealed 1979 first pressing of “Metal Box” by Public Image Limited. Original edition in actual Metal Box. Bought from original owner who had it in storage for 30 years. Has original tape still attached; tape, cellophane, and sticker all denote first edition release.


Slight oxidization from small hole in plastic (see photos); otherwise in pristine condition.


Only time a sealed copy has been available on eBay in past 15 years was when this came up for sale in 2016. Rare opportunity to get this essential release in mint condition.
