1979 UK Virgin 3 x 45 rpm 12" LP          METAL 1         

This is the original UK limited edition release in the stickered metal box, complete with all inserts. 

RECORDS - EX-   All three records have a great lustre and look very little played. The surfaces however show some light non-sounding sleeve scuffs/hairlines, and there is a minute scratch at the very beginning of side E which causes a couple of clicks. No warp. All sides play generally EX (save as just mentioned, I heard no more than a couple of clicks/pops on any of the records on play-testing all three right through).

[Please note that Jah Wobble's bass is seriously deep and heavy on this recording and may throw or jar your stylus in places if the tracking weight and anti-skate on your tonearm are not set just so] 

LABELS - NM   No spindle marks. No stickers or writing.

INSERTS - EX-   The tracklist is clean but a little creased, dog-eared and age-toned. The circular paper dividers have some finger smudges, creasing and "ringwear" type marks.

BOX - VG+ to EX-   The exterior of the metal box is tarnished/oxidised (as seems to be the case with most copies after 30+ years). There is one small "dimple" type ding on the bottom section but otherwise the box is still very solid and closes snugly. It still has the "METAL 1" sticker on the bottom section.

GRADING SCALE:   M/NM/EX/VG/G(+/-) visual grading only - not play-tested unless specifically indicated above. NM is near mint not mint - I do not use M except for an unplayed record.

PACKAGING:    Record will be securely packaged, with record (in its inner sleeve) outside the main cover to avoid damage to the cover.
