Description
ILP 919 on Sue Records label. 1965 compilation album "Pure Blues Volume One". Tracks are: Crossroads/Homesick James, Don't Dog Your Woman/Buster Brown, Bad Feeling Blues/Lightnin' Slim, Roll With Me Henry/Etta James, What Will Lucy Do/Frankie Lee Sims, Boogie Chillun/Bobby Peterson, I Sing Um The Way I Feel/J. B. Lenoir, Tom Cat/Willie Mae Thornton, I Wish I Was A Catfish/Elmore James, Mercy's Blues/Mercy Baby, Bad Boogie/Lightnin' Hopkins, Why Does Everything Happen To Me/James Brown, Just Got Some/Willie Mabon.
This terrific and very rare album is in very good condition. The vinyl shines absolutely beautifully and has one hairline scratch across side 1. This results in a very slight pop now and then. Apart from this there is only an extremely small amount of the very lightest wispy hairline marks that have no effect at all on the play. The labels show just five ever so light spindle marks and have no damage to or around the spindle holes at all. The labels are beautifully clean and have no writing or marks.
The front laminated cover is in excellent condition. No rips, splits or tears. Lovely spine with no crushing. Perfect opening edges with no fraying. No heavy handling marks and no laminate lifting or peeling.
Great rare album.

I MAKE NO MONEY FROM MY POSTAL CHARGES. I pack with strong card and the records are taken out of their sleeves and placed in polythene record covers. If more than three LP’s are bought, these will automatically be sent in a strong cruciform box.
I go to the post office every two days but please allow at least 10 days before asking where your parcel is. It will have been sent but I am unable to say how long Royal Mail will take to deliver.
