Description

The Vinyl (NM-):

The records have never been played and the grooves are pristine. The surface exhibits extremely faint, non-audible hairline marks on one or both discs. These marks are strictly superficial and are the direct result of the heavy friction caused by the record being housed and removed from the original sharp-edged paper inner sleeves. The records have since been transferred to new, static-free archival sleeves to prevent further wear. This is functionally an unplayed copy, and the visual marks are common in many colored pressings shipped with paper sleeves.

The Sleeve (VG+):

The jacket is in fantastic shape overall, remaining free of splits, tears, creases, wrinkles, or ring wear. The only evidence of handling is minor, isolated wear noted on the corners of the gatefold sleeve. The jacket presents beautifully and securely houses the two discs.

This listing offers the extremely rare, Out-of-Print (OOP) "Splattered" 2xLP pressing of Puscifer's 2013 remix album, All Re-Mixed Up. This edition is a US Pressing and is recognized by collectors as the scarce color variant (Discogs ID 15848317). Puscifer, under the direction of Maynard James Keenan, is known for producing color vinyl in highly limited quantities, often in runs of 500 copies or fewer.

All Re-Mixed Up is an ambitious reinterpretation of the music from Puscifer's 2011 album, Conditions of My Parole. The album features 12 deep cuts and reworks by an eclectic group of musical minds. This compilation is particularly renowned for its diverse roster, appealing to fans of industrial, experimental, and alternative rock. Contributors include core Puscifer members Mat Mitchell and Carina Round, alongside external heavyweights such as:

  • John Fryer: 4AD veteran who produced the extensive "Horizons (Dream of a Lie reMix)".

  • Josh Eustis (Telefon Tel Aviv): Contributes two influential mixes: "Monsoons (JLE Motorik Mix)" and "The Rapture (JLE Needs Service Mix)".

  • Aaron Harris (PALMS/ISIS): Remixed "The Weaver".

  • Sir Mix-a-Lot: The unexpected and highly sought-after remix of "Conditions of My Parole" (F.U.B.A.R. mix).
