Superb psych monster from 1969. A record that deserves its Grail status.
I am STRICT with grading. Please zoom in to study pics and read the following carefully.
The sleeve is in VG. There is light edge wear. A couple of small white areas to front. No splits, tears, or major creases. Spine is nice and readable with only minor wear. The bottom flipback to the rear has been creased and come away slightly on one edge from the middle to the sleeve edge. This could be carefully glued back.
The record is visually top VG+ / near EX. There are three or four light non feelable hairline 'scratches' or marks to track 1 each side, visible when tilting the record. These are very small and the type that go the way of the grooves, not across, and do not affect play. Otherwise, the record has no scuffs, feelable scratches, or other marks.
Both sides have surface noise and light crackle, most noticeable between tracks and audible in the few quieter parts of tracks and run-ins.
Mostly, the music is very powerful, loud, punchy, and dynamic throughout. The audio is a great VG+ to, at times, EX overpowering any minor, occasional, and background surface noise being heard.
I noticed just 2 or 3 soft light pops to side 1. There are no loud repetitive ticks or clicks to either side.
Like most records, the audio will improve further by giving the record a gentle clean.
The labels are nice and clean and show just a couple of spindle marks on each side.
The original inner bag is correct and dated Feb 1969 and has no splits or tears.
A rare chance to buy this great album.
