Description
This is a classic LP. It's a UK stereo pressing entitled 'Pussy Plays' by Pussy. The band was originally nown as Fortes Mentum. This LP was originally released in 1969 on the Morgan Bluetown label but this is recent re-issue which I believe was released in 2009. It is absolutely faithful reproduction of the original LP complete with a perfect textured sleeve. The catalogue number is BT 5002 and it's a stereo pressing. The music is superb prog psych rock. This album is a must for all serious collectors of great rock music.
OUTER SLEEVE - The sleeve is faithful reproduction of the original textured type. There is no wear on either side or along the edges and the spine. It is in beautiful condition. The wording along the spine is 100% readable. I've graded the sleeve Ex++.
INNER SLEEVE - This is a plain white diecut paper type.
RECORD - Thisrecord has been well once by me and there are only very minor surface marks on both sides but these do not result in any real surface noise. There are very occasional pops and clicks which are due to the pressing, I believe, but there are definitely no jumps or skips on either side. In fact, the record plays really well on both sides. The labels which are the blue Morgan Blue Town type with black wording. The labels are in lovely condition with virtually no spindle marks. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are - side one - BT 5002 - A3 (stampers CUTSVILLE) - side two - BT 5002 - B3(stampers CUTSVILLE). I have graded the record as Ex++ and believe that this is very fair.
