LEO REISMAN & HIS ORCH. // NAT SHILKRET & HIS ORCH. -- VICTOR 22306 PUTTIN' ON THE RITZ // SINGING A VAGABOND SONG-- Condition: E // E Recored in early 1930, right after the stock market crash, Puttin' on the Ritz embodied everything about the "Twenties" that made them so much fun -- while they lasted! Reisman's orchestra does a great job with this tune. including Bubber Miley's trumpet and a Lew Conrad vocal. What fun! Flip side is Victor's house band director, Nat Shilkret, who had access to Victor's big budget to fill his band with the best! A great arrangement of another tune from the talkie"Puttin' On the Ritz", with a Frank Luther vocal. The records condition is just about new, save for the gold fading a bit on the label (which kept it from being E+), but the record is great!

As with all records purchased from me, they are cleaned with the VPI professional Record Washing System, so the sides are free of grit and dirt and they are CLEAN!
This is part of a huge collection that I am trying to get posted on EBAY. Since there are now others posted from me, I will happy to combine orders to save shipping costs, since it costs very little more to ship six records as it does to ship one! However, any record agreed to be held, must be paid for with 48 hours, or they will be put up for second chance offers. It is impossible to tie us all of the income from "held" records, for, what could be weeks, without payment. Unless otherwise noted, records are shipped in plain manilla sleeves and shipped in heavy cardboard boxes with double pieces of cardboard top and bottom and the middle (if the the shipment is large enough) and packed with popcorn and/or bubble material.
