Description
In a de-cluttering exercise, a relative has unloaded on us several boxed sets of classical records, but as we listen to our music on laptops and have no use for these items, we thought it might be better to move them on to someone who would appreciate them more. The relative has assured us that the records are in very good playable condition, and they certainly look fine, but please be aware that we have not tested them ourselves. All are 331/3 RPM – real records, not CDs!!
This auction is for a two-record set plus a leaflet about the works, which also include Paganini: 24 Caprices and Sarasate: Carmen Fantasy, and also information about Itzhak Perlman. He performs on this recording with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra under Laurence Foster.
The box is in good condition – age related wear on the front cover but not much else. Lovely design on the back (see photos)! The inner sleeves are aged along some tops and edges but intact. The leaflet is in very good condition, and the records themselves have no visible faults anywhere and look as if they have not been played very much.
