Description
Looks very, very clean EXCEPT for a few very, very light stains (mold ?) near one end - really, they're hardly visible! Lid is falling apart; box is intact.

Pair of brown wax Phenix cylinder records - no markings of any kind can be found after careful scrutiny but a long-time cylinder collector identified them as "Phenix".
At first glance these appear to be Pathe Salon cylinders... until you try to put them on a Pathe cylinder phonograph - they don't fit!!!!
My crude ruler measures Pathe Salon cylinders at approx 78 mm on one end - these measure approx 72 mm... ?
In addition, the "ribs" on these cylinder are one long "rib" that "spirals" down the inside - most of the Pathe records I'm offering (as well as Edisons) have individual ribs that are parallel to the ends of the record... ?.
These are certainly unique and even if you can't play them, they'll be an interesting addition to your collection - and you'll be the first on your block to have any!!!
