99 % of the records I sell are in mint condition, I prefer to say they are near mint in my auctions just be on the safe side of grading them.

MINT ---- It should appear to be perfect. No scuffs or scratches, pops, blotches or stains. Like New.

NEAR MINT ---- Otherwise mint but has one or two tiny inconsequential flaws that do not affect play.

EXCELLENT---- PLAYS WITH MINOR NOISE OR POPS. Played several times or regularly but still very playable with some minor noises pops, or marks. Record displays visible signs of handling and playing,

FAIR ----PLAYS WITH SOME SURFACE NOISE AND SOME POPS. Been played a lot and has normal tear and wear that includes some noise, pops or marks. I.e. More for a DJ that wants to play the record out rather than a collector who will be staring at it. However it should not skip and have major pops.
