Description
PARADISE LOST "Gothic" (original first press) gatefold LP on Peaceville Records (1991). RED vinyl, not sure how may pressed. The vinyl is in GOOD/NEAR MINT condition, and has only been played a few times. There's a few, very light marks that do not affect play at all (just listened to it to make sure). Damn near perfect shape. The cover is also NEAR MINT. Only flaws are a small transparent mark on the front cover (from a price sticker that was removed) and you can only see it if you hold it at an angle in the light. Also there's some waviness (you can see in the photo) that I think is from keeping it in the original plastic wrap for too long... not really sure what it's from. It has never been wet or anything like that. The back of the cover has some light ringwear beginning to show near the top (see photo). Otherwise perfect shape. No bends, split seams, or any other major defects to the cover. Includes original inner sleeve with band photo and lyrics, which is in perfect shape.
PARADISE LOST is from the U.K. and at this early point in their career played death/doom metal. Would appeal to fans of Autopsy, Winter, Cathedral, Disembowelment, Katatonia, My Dying Bride, Anathema, The Blood Divine, Dream Death, Trouble, Celtic Frost, Derketa, Thorns of the Carrion, Mournful Congregation, Thergothon, Skepticism, etc.
