“Parallelograms” by Linda Perhacs (Kapp Records, KS 3636)


No introduction needed here… I’m firmly convinced this is the absolute best US folk-psych LP, hands down.  Important note: lots of people have talked about the various pressings of this LP being “noisy,” but I can guarantee you this one plays with a silent background.  It’s the colored label Kapp pressing, as opposed to the black label, but I guarantee it does not have the background hiss usually associated with this LP.


Condition: Cover = EX (Stunning condition, a tiny bit of edge wear and a promo stamp on the bottom right of the rear cover, other than that, perfect.  No seam splits, no writing, cover has nice gloss, see photos) / Record = M- (Spotless, shiny, no spindle marks at all, and it’s an excellent sounding pressing, red & orange Kapp label)

PACKAGING & SHIPPING: As I’m VERY careful about keeping LPs in their described condition, I ship all LPs in custom LP mailers and use filler pads.  I pack the disc with the inner-sleeve placed behind cover (both in a plastic slipcover) to prevent seam splitting in transit.
