Description

Until I Googled I had no idea that one of the sides on this disc, "The Man of Constant Sorrow" (not shown),  is a well-known American folksong, recorded by many singers in the years subsequent to its first waxing by Emry Arthur in 1928 on Vocalion.   Don't know if this disc is a dub of that version but one discography I consulted lists this particular Paramount as dating from April of 1931.   The flip side is "That Married Man."
