Description

Dig this! Here's another chapter in the history of weirdest dutch records ever! It's a radioplay for the VPRO (Dutch most progressive broadcasting company) and recorded in may/june 1970. A bunch of stoned hippies goes tripping, one of the guys buys a guitar and they form a popgroup called Magic Centre. It's mainly spoken word here, but in between are weird spacey sounds and the formed group Magic centre perform a few rehearsels/"hits" in between. Especially that track "children of the cosmos" has a stoned hippie vibe. This is from the famous radioshow by Willem de Ridder (also famous from his work with Peter Pontiac). This album is ultrarare, you just never see it offered for sale.
Original private pressing from 1970. This record was issued in a plain white sleeve with only a stamp. Record is in excellent condition. The sleeve (just a plain white sleeve with a stamp) is in VG+ condition: a bit of writing and a moisture stain.
