Comments:  Solid gatefold cover is in real nice vg++ shape with just a hint of ringwear, some very minor wear to corners, and there's a few small scuffs on the front and back where the ink has worn off, leaving white spots (see pics below); all seams and the spine are intact and solid, inside and out.  Vinyl is vg+/vg+/vg+/vg+ all four sides, with some surface scuffs, light marks and some staticky sounding surface noise is audible during lower volume moments (cleaning might help that); no heavy scratches or skips.

Decent copy of this scarce 2LP, originally intended (I think) to turn the people of 1967 onto some kind of super hip Jesus "trip".  This was reissued a few years back as a single LP which is also out of print, as far as I can tell.  A super smooth voice like Rydgren's could talk people into thinking just about anything, especially with some super groovy music in the background.  They say that Manson had such power, but he used it for darkness.   

"Heading into the Summer of Love, Rydgren was the crafty head of the TV, Radio and Film Department of the American Lutheran  Church. Years before the words "Jesus" and "Freak" became joined at the rib, the straight-looking Rydgren created a daily radio show called Silhouette in which he became the reassuring, resonant-voiced Hippy for God. Rydgren wrote, announced and programmed Silhouette, taking his musical and cultural cues from The Electric Prunes, Herb Alpert and the cover of Time (Is God Dead?), with a vocal delivery that was straight out of the Tom Donahue / Ken Nordine school of breathy baritone radio seduction. Silhouette dropped all the counter-cultural codewords of the day into a heady mix of Peace, Love, Sex, Drugs and Jesus. Not to mention Fuzzy Guitars."  --- WFMU
