An absolute classic of 1980s jazz from a truly legendary trio. This is a beautiful original 1984 German first pressing of Pat Metheny's "Rejoicing," featuring the immense talents of bassist Charlie Haden and drummer Billy Higgins, on the iconic ECM Records.

It brings together three of the most distinctive voices in modern jazz: Pat Metheny's lyrical and innovative guitar work; the profound, woody tone and deep melodicism of Charlie Haden's bass; and the joyful, swinging pulse of the late, great Billy Higgins' drums. These are balanced by beautiful, original compositions from Metheny and Haden, including the stunning Metheny epic "The Calling."

A beautiful copy. The vinyl is exceptionally clean and retains its original deep, glossy lustre. Under a strong light, it appears almost unmarked, with perhaps just a couple of the faintest wispy paper scuffs from the inner sleeve. A superb, top-tier listening copy.
Sleeve: Excellent (EX)
The original sleeve is in fantastic condition. It is clean, solid, and sharp, with a lovely matt finish. There is only very light, minimal shelf wear, with strong corners and edges. The spine is crisp and perfectly legible. An outstanding example, as shown in the detailed photos.
