Description

A very rare NS-associated march from around 1933, maybe even the Kampfzeit, on the Patria label - famous among WW2 record collectors for its political picture discs with National Socialist figures on them. This is to my knowledge the only known recording of this particular 'Deutschlands Erwachen' march, written by one Fritz Schwarze (almost certainly a pseudonym for someone else). Both marches on this record are played by the Blas-Orchester of the Berlin Schutzpolizei, which was in the pocket of the Nazi party by 1933.


The record is in great shape, about an E- / E grade, the sound is loud, clear & crisp.
