Description
For sale is Patrice Rushen's Pizzazz, originally released by Elektra Records in 1979 as a promotional copy with a gold stamp on the front cover. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is etched "AZ CB" along with a large "S" with a smaller "r" and "c" inside its coils, indicating that the record was mastered at Allen Zentz Mastering, San Clemente, California by Chris Bellman, then this first edition was pressed at Specialty Records Corporation's pressing plant located in Olyphant, Pennsylvania. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. Doing this has preserved the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may has come with the release. The original inner sleeve is Near Mint. The cover is graded as Excellent with some very slight corner blunts and ring wear. The Vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint. I'm play grading it as Near Mint. This record has been played on Audiophile equipment since I bought it and still has a lot of life left to it. This is the best copy of this album that I have ever seen or heard and you would be hard-pressed to find a promotional copy in this condition ever again. I have more vintage Soul and R&B albums, as well as records of all different genres in my Ebay store. Please take a look. They're predominately Near Mint. Thank you for viewing my listing. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
