Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: Patti Smith Group – Horses – Vinyl LP album.
Original UK First Pressing.
A1, B1 Matrix
Vinyl Condition: G/VG (Some light surface marks and light scratches but is in nice condition overall. There is a small mark on side 1 track 3 which causes some clicks/pops for around 30 seconds or so but is otherwise ok. Overall nice playback. Some light crackle and the odd click and pop but no sticks or jumps).
Inner Sleeve Condition: Fair (Original inner sleeve has creases wear and visible stains but is complete at least).
Outer Sleeve Condition: G (Sleeve has some edge and corner wear & creasing. There are some stains and blotches here and there. The back has a small surface tear and some blotches. Overall pretty decent condition).
I grade my records as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
