Description

Mer 601.  Hey Joe (Version)/ Piss Factory.  Authentic 1974 Pressing.  There are several things to look for to determine if you have a boot or a real one.  The easiest thing is to see if the matrix numbers (2701 and 2702) are mechanically stamped in the trail-off.  See photos 3 and 4.  If you have a copy with no numbers or hand etched, you have a boot.  The vinyl should be thick with little flex to it.  The silver print should be opaque not washed out translucent.  The letters on the label should be crisp and clear.  The letters on boots look slightly irregular.  The horizontal silver lines on the label do not extend all the way to the edge on real ones.
This 45 grades VG++ with nice gloss.  There is one faint mark on the A-side.  See the final photo.  It plays cleanly and quietly.  The A-side of this 45 can be heard at the bottom of this listing.
The US Postal Service increased shipping rates again on 1/23/23.  Please check shipping cost before bidding. Thanks.
ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:  The USPS created unnecessary chaos on 1/25/2021.  Europe no longer has consistent pricing, it varies from country to country.  Finland is $3.75 more than Sweden.  Does that make sense?  No, it doesn't.  The UK, France, Germany and a few others have a lower rate.  It's not possible for me to match every country with the correct rate.  I've had to use the highest rate across the board.  If your country ends up being dramatically lower I'll refund the difference.  You can refer to USPS.com to check their rates.
GRADING
Near Mint or Mint Minus:  My top grade.  The record or cover will show the most minimal of wear.  The record will have top gloss.  The cover will be free from any ring wear, splits, or handwriting.
VG++ :  Not quite Near Mint but a super clean, desirable record.
VG+ :  The record or cover will show signs of wear but no significant defects.
VG  :  Obvious signs of wear but the record still has life in it.  VG does not mean beat.
VG Minus  :  The record or cover will show moderate to heavy wear.  For a common record this would not be an acceptable grade.  For an in-demand, rare record it should be considered.
Good  :  Very heavy wear.  This grade would only be acceptable if the record is rare enough that you might not see another copy available for sale or it's a rare record at a low price.
