Description
Patti Smith - Horses. First 1975 UK pressing on Arista label with black/blue labels and white text on cover.
First press stampers: ARTY 122 A - 1U ARTY 122 B - 1U
Cover is Excellent. Solid copy, very clean all round with little to no ageing evident. Spine is sharp and and square. Just a touch of light shelf wear to the bottom edge around the black of Patti's jeans.
Record is Excellent, would say this is a conservative grading though as there are almost no scratches or handling evident whatsoever. It shines beautifully and has seen very little action in 40+ years.
I can confirm the audio on this is amazing. From a dynamic perspective it's a great pressing, very clear and punchy sound. The quieter tracks like Birdland have pockets of crackle here and there but it still sounds incredible. A fantastic copy for any collector.
All my records are packed securely in strong, Musicmax cardboard mailers with stiffeners inside. When packing the records are removed from their cover and, if necessary, placed in separate protective liners to ensure no bumping around during transit. As a collector myself I take great care in this step to ensure records arrive as they left. I only charge exactly what it costs to send.
