Description

This is Patti Smith's debut album "Horses" released in 1975 by Arista Records (AL 4066).  The record was produced by John Cale.  It has a portrait of Patti Smith on the cover by Robert Mapplethorpe.  She is wearing a horse pin.  The album is in good condition considering it is 45 years old(!).  It feels heavier than most vinyl.  The cover shows signs of age and wear.  The top and bottom have splits.  The paper sleeve is not original to the record and is yellowed and has someone's name now crossed out.  The music is beautiful and strong.
