This is perhaps the most highly regarded Patti Smith live album, and it comes from the period when the original band were at their best. Recorded in January 1976 at the Roxy in LA. Great recording quality, fantastic performance, Patti Smith freestyling her improvised lyrics … and Iggy Pop makes an appearance (not performing, just saying hello).
