The Three LPs are in EX condition.There is some light surface noise on all 3 records, though it is never loud or intrusive - there is possibly a little more in volume 3, but still it is quiet and I would say fairly typical of records of this age On side one there is a 2 rev repetitive tick. On side three there is a quiet 7 or 8 rev soft repetitive noise caused by unevenness on the record surface. On sides 5 and 6 there are one or two patches of quiet repetitive surface noise, and a couple of short (2 or 3 revs) repetitive ticks. The covers are in EX condition. Clean and with only minor signs of their age, though Volume one has a split on the bottom right hand seam, and their are the first signs of splitting on the other volumes.
An absolutely fabulous set! I don't know Badura-Skoda's playing so well, but I was deeply impressed by this recording, and it made me want to hear more from him. The date on the sleeve says 1957 - 62 years later the records sound excellent!
This LP comes from a large collection of records owned by a retired music professor that I am selling on his behalf. I do not grade the records visually, I listen to them in their entirety and try to give as accurate description of the condition as I can.
On request I am also happy to use a courier service for orders over 2kg which may well be more economical. I will always try to find the best option available, but please ask straight away if you would like to do this.
Please note, I would appreciate payment within 4 days. Owing to my work schedule, the longer I have to wait for payment the more complicated it gets for me to send items on time as I travel a lot. It also makes life a lot easier for me if I only have to make one trip to the post office to post all sold items at the same time.
